The Band
The Caleb Willitz Ensemble makes earthy music in a freewheeling, improvised format. Caleb’s carefully crafted songs come alive against a backdrop of sonic experimentation and spontaneous improvisation. The Ensemble is an ever-growing cast of Chicago improvisers, and in the past has included: Tatsu Aoki (bass), Fred Lonberg-Holm (cello & effects), Edward Wilkerson (tenor), Greg Ward (alto), Rami Atassi (guitar & effects), Raul Cotaquispe (drums), Tara Smith (vocals).
